This topic seems to be all the rage on another local website. So I thought I'd solicit an opinion from non-hacks (as the other site is basically county legislators pretending to be real people).
Has Greg Lewis outlived his usefulness for Niagara County? And for that matter, can the county manager system survive when the GOP has a 14-5 majority in the legislature?
Sadly, I was a big Greg Lewis fan when he first started ... but have since decided that he can't do much good as long as the supermajority caucus is looking over his shoulder.
