This confederate guy must be upset about this podcast ... or maybe this one.

I get a lot of comments on those two episodes. You should read them. Apparently, they don't teach English where these people go to school. Pay particular attention to spelling.

The saddest part is this guy is probably my age ... and will have kids that he'll train to be racist ... and will teach that we're still in the Civil War.

The confederate emblem is no more then a logo, like the one you would see on the side of a soda can. I really am not offended by it personally, if people want to display it that is their right to free speech, but it hardly deserves to be displayed in or on any government building unless it is a mueseum.

I kind of feel sorry for that poor sap who posted that, I would like to believe that he/she doesn't represent the majority of people in the south. Folks like you give the south a bad representation. It's ok to be a red-neck, but it isn't ok to be ignorant and rude. If you disagree with a point of view, step it up a notch next time and express your self more like a southern gentleman and not like an inbred. -M.A.D.

On the North vs South thread... I've been living in the south now for almost three years and I'm still amazed at some of the attitudes and beliefs here. Born and raised in the north (and proud of it!), I'd never really imagined a "line"... an attitude of, "oh, s/he's from the south..." I never thought I was "better" because I was from the north... But I have to admit, at least where I work, the attitude is that us "northerners" are lazy and rude. I don't agree with either accusation but I know one solid fact: People from the south drive like $hit!

Oh yeah, and Scott's not gay.... :)
