[spoiler]Ok here goes again....I just got done with my post and it got lost so I will piddle through the keyboard again and try to remember what I wrote....I love the new concert venue. Saw 2 shows, and was impressed by the vendors of food, beverages and the friendly security....but as next Friday approaches I feel the powers that run the show do not realize exactly what they are going to be dealing with .
I know alot of music lovers, Judy and I attend Artpark shows, Gateway, the square,Molson, and most any other place where we can go to listen to live music, especially blues. I recieved no fewer than 10 phone calls when the Molson schedule came out, asking if I heard who was coming on July 25th. Kenny Wayne Shepard is a young guitar hero who has a huge international following. He was recently featured in a documentary on tv travelling down south to find the blues roots...he is a "now" popular preformer.
Lou Graham, Blood Sweat and Tears and Nazereth I would call nostalgic at best, there better days behind them, but still are interesting to see.
This kid is gonna pack em in. EVERYONE I know who loves music is going to be there, it has been one of the main topics of coversation at nearly every show we have attended this year. Young and older, yuppies and bikers, Democrats and Republicans are all going to be there.
I have one message for the powers that be for this show....
[spoiler]YOU NEED MORE PORT A POTTIES!!!!!!!!!!!!! If the number of the current blue oasises of releif do not at least double you will have an "overflow" crowd of massive proportions! All the best dancing will be going on in the lines waiting for the green light to enter....Hope I make it back from Binghamton (Empire Games) So I can catch this show.....get there early!idea.gif

That's messed up what they did last Friday to Flyin' Blind.  I think that the powers that be just don't realize that many many people were there to see Flyin' Blind and not Nazareth.  If they had half a brain they would, but they are probably not too in touch with the local music scene.  Think about who's in charge for these concerts.

I probably won't be able to see any of the concerts due to my work schedule, but I think Riders on the Storm is the nly one that interests me anyway!biggrin
