So Kyle Andrews got appointed to the treasurer's post. Interesting.

And now the legislature has to appoint a replacement for Andrews legislature seat.

But if memory serves correct, it has to be a registered Democrat, right?

So who is a DINO in Wilson? Cause they obviously won't pick a "real" Democrat.

No, I believe they passed a resolution awhile back saying replacements do not have to be the same party. It is at the discretion of the Chairman.

@25, you are correct. It just passed last year ... by a party line vote. 

And whoever holds the seat is up for re-election come November.
